A parlour game

Frank was so happy.

They were playing. Gus was strapped to the Antikythera.

Let’s play the game of “You and Me”.

“Put the cards in the machine and see what happens.”

Cicero opened the suitcase. He revealed a case of cards.

Molly laughed.

“Pick your Dewey Number.”

“Who goes first, you or me?”

“Me. I chose book covers”

“I should be you and I strictly speaking”

“Red or Black.”

“Multicoloured.”

Eamon appeared.

“i’ll pick for you”

Eamon picked a card. Cicero then picked up the phone. He whispered to the receiver. No nodded solemnly. His toga was firmly in place.

“We let him pick”

Frank held the cards to Gus. His eye flamed.

Pick.
